The Burren National Park in County Clare offers some of the best examples of the Burren limestone formations that are found in southwest Ireland and the Aran Islands. There are also excellent well marked hiking trails for closeup exploration.
About John Farley
After a career in marketing and sales in the hi-tech industries of Northern California, my long time avocation has become my occupation. My first enthusiasm for serious photography came on cruises to exotic locations courtesy of the US Navy. I bought my first Nikon in Yokosuka, Japan. Later, living in Northern California with all of its glorious natural beauty encouraged an interest in landscape photography and oil painting. I now concentrate on studio painting, mostly abstractions derived from my own photographs.
